    The Lokmanya Tilak School, named after Bal Gangadhar Tilak, great Freedom Fighter and contemporary of Gandhiji is one of the oldest school in Ujjain.Its near to the Madhav Nagar Railway Station and Vivekanand Colony.The college is not very old, but a recent development of the committee who governs both these.These two are adjecent to each other.

    About 17 years ago, a Railway Fatak (Crossing) was situated here, called Hari Fatak. But due to load of heavy traffic, necessicity of a over bridge had been arises. And Simhastha'92 placed a gift 'Hari Fatak Over Bridge' to peoples of Holy City Ujjain. This bridge has three ends, one to Nanakheda, second to Mahakleshwar and third one is to Indore Gate/Railway Station. The bridge plays a major role in connecting old city to Nanakheda area.
